The Queens, Leeds
Leeds’ most iconic hotel, situated in the heart of Leeds city centre and standing proud since 1937. The Queens has the largest hotel banqueting facilities in Leeds thanks to the iconic ‘Queens Ballroom’.
This is a ballroom in its truest sense, capable of seating 550 people for abanquet and 450 for a dinner dance and rest assured you will be in good company, The Queens has played host to many a glitzy black-tie event and many a famous face including Grace Kelly, Prince Ranier of Monaco, Nelson Mandela and Queen Elizabeth.
Other beautiful banqueting suites at The Queens include the Palm Court Suite and The Ark Royal Suite, perfect for smaller numbers and just as extravagant as the Queens Ballroom.

The Midland, Manchester
One of the grandest hotels in the centre of Manchester, The Midland has played host to an abundance of corporate banqueting events over its 107 year history as well as hosting many distinguished guests including Sir Winston Churchill, General Eisenhower, Posh & Becks, Henry Royce and Hon. Charles Rolls – the founders of the Rolls Royce company.
The largest banqueting suite at the hotel is the ‘Alexandra Suite’ capable
of seating 620 for a dinner dance,
while the hotel also benefits from many smaller more intimate banqueting rooms such as the Rolls & Royce Suites, each capable of seating 30 guests for a private banquet.
We are also delighted to inform you that The Alexandra Suite can now be directly accessed from Windmill Street (directly opposite Manchester Central Convention Centre) thanks to the addition of The Petersfield Suite, an elegant pre-event drinks reception area with steps leading down in to The Alexandra Suite. This makes The Midland the first venue in the city that offers direct access to its main banqueting suite, you could say that The Midland is one of a kind.
